This is for Matt Kelly and The Department of Public Works. I would like to thank him and his crew for starting the repairs on Canal Alley, which needed it very, very, badly. I especially want to thank Matt Kelly who designed the improvement for the worst alley in Hollister. The potholes, speed bumps, and drainage problems had been a nightmare for a long time. I know when it is completed that it will be the best alley in Hollister.
Now that we got rid of all the shopping carts, abandon vehicles, and have new paving and speed bumps, two cars can drive through the alley at a slow speed. Especially with the added speed bumps, the kids don’t have to dodge the speeding cars that race through there.
I also would like to thank the hard working Red Phone for doing a terrific job in getting our problems solved. You have my pat on the back for a job well done ! Keep it up.
