Choir sings ‘Bon Voyage’ before trip to Olympics: The Monterey Peninsula Choral Society will present a “Bon Voyage” concert, Spirit & Song: An Olympic Journey, at St. Benedict Church, 1200 Fairview Road, Hollister, July 13 at 8 p.m. Admission is free although a donation of $20 would be appreciated. 3.) ‘Big River’ continues run: San Benito Stage’s Company’s “Big River – The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” continues July 13, 14, 20, 12, 27 and 28 at 7 p.m., with a Sunday matinee July 22, at 2 p.m., at the Granada Theater, 336 Fifth St., in Hollister.

4.) See local artists at Mars Hill: Members of the Hollister Art League have pieces up as part of the Spring Art Show at Mars Hill Coffeehouse through the end of July. 5.) Hike the Anza Trail: Ranger-led hikes will be held along the Anza Trail along the Old Stage Coach Road portion of the trail in San Juan Bautista. The hikes will begin at 8 a.m. at the trailhead, on July 13 and 21. The program is a partnership between the National Parks Service, Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail, and the California State Parks, San Juan Bautista Historic Park.
