Grace Tobias

Tres Pinos resident Grace Tobias will be representing the Calfornia Rodeo Salinas for the next year after winning the title of Miss California Rodeo Salinas at last month’s event.
According to a press release announcing the honor, she is the daughter of Charles and Lisa Tobias of Tres Pinos and she attends the Unversity of California, Davis majoring in animal science with the goal of attending the School of Veterinary Medicine. 
At school, while a participant of the U.C. Davis Collegiate Livestock Judging Team and Livestock Show Team, she serves as the vice president of the Young Cattlemen’s Association of U.C. Davis.
Tobias grew up on a cattle ranch in San Benito County and has long been involved with 4-H. She was named Miss California Rodeo Salinas 2013 during the opening ceremony of the rodeo in July. She was involved with presentations during Big Week and will represent Salinas at other appearances ahead.
Tobias in 2011 was named Saddle Horse Show queen in San Benito County.
