City’s agreement with group will provide no-cost spaying, neutering

The Hollister Downtown Association is looking for sponsors to cover the cost of an outdoor summer movie series in July. This year, the group is hoping to offer a Thursday evening family-friendly movie during the last three weeks of the month.

As I was driving down the road last week, I couldn’t help but notice just how green the grass was. It was such a bright, bold green, it was just beautiful. Today, as I was driving down the road with just one week with no rain, I can already tell the grass is starting to turn. Mother Nature really is amazing if you just take a minute to look at things. The wildflowers are still in bloom and the grass is still green, but boy can it turn quickly. Enjoy it now as it will be gone pretty soon.
