Hollister – Gymnasts from USA Sport Connection in Hollister brought home several individual medals at the Elite Gymnastics Roundup Invitational in Salinas Sunday.

The Level 4 girls also brought home the second-place team trophy, an average of the top three scores in each event with the combined total for the team. The Level 4 team finished ahead of five other teams for second place.

In the 11+ age division, Alysia Brown placed tied for fifth on the vault (8.75) and fifth on the uneven bars (8.25).

Taylor Fisher placed sixth on the floor exercise (8.55) and eighth on the balance beam (7.85).

Jessica Frey placed second on the vault (9.0), fifth on the balance beam (8.275), sixth on the uneven bars (8.225), and tied for seventh on the floor exercise (8.5).

Megan Jelinek placed seventh on the balance beam (7.875).

Jessica Meade placed third on the uneven bars (8.6), third on the balance beam (8.4), seventh on the vault (8.55) and tied for seventh on the floor exercise (8.5).

In the 9-10 age division, Lise Avilla placed second on the floor exercise (8.85), third on the balance beam (8.4) and eighth-tied on the uneven bars (7.775).

Emily Rianda placed fourth on the uneven bars (8.025), tied for fourth on the floor exercise (8.65) and seventh on the balance beam (8.175).

Savanna Wilson placed tied for eighth on the uneven bars (7.775), ninth on the vault (8.6), and ninth on the balance beam (8.175).

In the 6-8 age division, Jacquelynn Fischer placed fourth in the vault (8.95). Competing at Level 5, Jillian Rios placed third on the balance beam (8.6).

The girls will be at the Monterey Bay Invitational, hosted by Rising Star Gymnastics, on Oct. 2.
