cold. The ground is wet. The ball just isn’t going to fly like it
does in the summer.

Take at least one extra club on those shots into the green and sometimes, two extra clubs.

As the days get warmer and drier, you will be able to go back to what you have been used to all along. With your chips and pitch shots, try to get them a little further onto the green. Don’t expect as much bounce and run.

By April or May, as the courses dry and the weather gets warmer, the ball wills start to travel further and you can adjust.

Meanwhile, take advantage of all of this great winter weather and get out and play some golf.
