San Benito's Katherine Breger, left, and Ellie Burley, right, team up to block a shot during Tuesday's opening-round CCS playoff game. The Balers fell to Monte Vista in five games, ending the season at home.

After finishing its league season 8-4 – good for second place in the Tri-County Athletic League – four players from the San Benito volleyball team were awarded with all-league honors.

Senior Katherine Breger and junior Raelynn Heredia were selected to the all-league first team. Breger led the Balers in kills this year and Heredia was the team-leader in digs and assists.

Junior Ellie Burley and senior Megan Kelley were selected to the all-league second team.
