Dear Editor,

The San Benito High School Teachers Association recommends incumbent Shelly Donati and parent Ray Rodriguez for the SBHS Board of Trustees in the Nov. 2 election. The teachers’ association believes Donati and Rodriguez are the best candidates to continue rebuilding the trust among the board, school administration, and the community.

The teachers’ association, which recommended current board members Jan Joseph and Bill Tiffany in the 2000 election, believes Donati and Rodriguez will serve in the best interests of all students, working to create more educational opportunities for an expanding and diverse student population. Also, we believe Donati and Rodriguez will help retain quality teachers for the students at SBHS.

Donati, who serves as board president, and Rodriguez, long active in community affairs, both have passion for supporting students through high school and beyond. They have the necessary experience and integrity to do what is best for the community.

The SBHS teachers’ association strongly recommends Shelly Donati and Ray Rodriguez be elected to the San Benito High School board of trustees.

Mr. Clete Bradford SBHSTA president
