Have you noticed that Hollister has the highest gas prices in the Tri-County area? I commute to San Jose and gas prices in Santa Clara County range 15 to 30 cents less. Last weekend we visited Monterey and prices there were 10 cents less. Why are our prices so high? I wonder. Could it be related to the recent law-suit against Safeway? Price fixing maybe? Something smells in Hollister and it isn’t Garlic.
