New stop lights OK'd for Fairview intersection

HOLLISTER

The scheduled work on the intersection of the new bypass and San Felipe Road was delayed from April 14 until April 23.

The intersection at San Felipe Road and the Highway 25 bypass will be controlled by signs instead of signals as a contractor is scheduled to conduct work on the lights between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. April 23, according to a press release from the Council of San Benito County Governments.

The contractor, Pavex Construction, will replace a signal pole and mast arm at the intersection. The signal will be turned off with stop signs controlling traffic, according to COG. Drivers are reminded to allow for extra travel time.

Call COG with questions at 637-7665.
