I recently received a letter from DMB introducing me to their
company, detailing the land they own and inviting me to get
involved in the planning process for developing their property. I
jumped at the opportunity. How often do local residents get a
chance like this, to play an active role in planning for the future
of our community?

I recently received a letter from DMB introducing me to their company, detailing the land they own and inviting me to get involved in the planning process for developing their property. I jumped at the opportunity. How often do local residents get a chance like this, to play an active role in planning for the future of our community?
No doubt cynics in the community will come out to attack DMB’s intentions. Some may already have done so.
It is time for people to step forward and put their time and resources into DMB’s planning process from the start. It is my opinion that our county will greatly benefit by the DMB project. I don’t want to hear afterwards attacks on a community-designed plan or worse, members of the community who actually take part in designing the plan just to score political points.
Let’s join together and get to work constructively planning for the future of San Benito County.
