Zepho Thorning, 6, and his siblings Scarlett, 5, and Breen, 1, from Tres Pinos, enjoy jumping in the puddles as they search for the perfect tree Saturday at Bourdet's Tree Farm.

Local Christmas Tree Farms were hopping on Saturday as residents got in trips to pick out trees in between the heavy storms over the weekend. Bourdet’s Christmas Tree Farm will have Santa on site this weekend, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The FFA will have animals in a petting zoo and the Lions Club will be selling food and drinks. Barone’s Christmas Tree Farm, on Hillcrest Road, is also open for business for those seeking a tree.
