Gilroy High graduate Steven Lo, Class of 2002, has accepted the position to become the next head coach of the GHS football team, Athletic Director Jack Daley announced last Friday.

“We look forward to the energy and intensity that Steven will bring to the position,” Daley said in a statement.

Lo has served on the GHS football coaching staff for the past seven seasons, mainly on the offensive side of the ball.

“Steven was always one of the hardest working athletes in our program and we are confident that he will bring that work ethic and personal discipline as our head coach,” Daley said.

Lo recently earned his masters degree in kinesiology from San Jose State.

“We look forward to his expertise in the field of strength and conditioning and we know that our athletes will benefit from his passion,” Daley added.
