Martha Marine Robinson was born in Missouri. Martha and her family moved to Hollister in the mid 1940s.

Preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Nellie Privett of Missouri, her husband, Ervin “Big Red” Robinson of Hollister, her sons Charles Robinson of Missouri, Ronald Duane “Red” Robinson of Hollister, her daughter, Bonnie Kathleen Robinson of Missouri, her brothers and sisters, Herbert Privett of MO, Jason Privett of MO, Faye Cook of WA and Fern Lee of MO.

Her living children survive her, Shirley Rudd of Yerington, NV and Dale Robinson of Hollister, her grandchildren, Brenda Collins of Tracy, Troy Robinson of Visalia and Jeremy Robinson of Hayward and her great grandchildren, Katie Christensen of Tracy, Kenneth Ryan Collins of Tracy and Christopher Collins of Tracy.

Martha was the “World’s Greatest Certified Nursing Assistant” as Roswin Flint said. She worked at the Hazel Hawkins Nursing Home, The Old Hazel Hawkins Northside and Southside Hospital and did private duty.

Martha loved visiting with friends and family and was always cooking. You never left her home hungry. Martha will never be forgotten and will be missed by everyone whose life she touched.

Friends can pay their respects from 11:00 AM until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Pastor John Amelio of Glad Tidings Church will officiate. Interment will follow the services at the IOOF Cemetery.

Donations can be made to a charity of choice c/o the funeral home and flowers can be sent to the funeral home.
