Leah Mae Robinett, 86, of Hollister, CA went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 12, 2011.

Leah was born in Sharon Springs, KS on January 20, 1925. The Gergen family moved to Boring, OR when she was 12 years old. Leah graduated from Gresham High School and attended Pacific University in Forest Grove and Oregon State in Corvallis.

She married Fredrick Robinett in Portland, Oregon in April of 1946. They moved to the Bay Area, where Leah worked while Fred studied at California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, CA. After graduation, they returned to Portland where their daughters Debra and Jennifer were born.

When Fred began working for FMC Corporation, they settled in Santa Clara, CA where their third daughter Gail was born. Leah faithfully provided a loving, supportive home for her family.

The couple retired to Hollister, CA in 1991.

Leah is survived by her three daughters: Debra Serrano, Jennifer Heyl and Gail Done; seven grandchildren: Andrea Ihle, Justin Heyl, Joshua Done, Daniel Done, David Done, Joseph Done, Josiah Done and her sister, Alice McDonald. Her husband of 50 years, Fred Robinett, and six of her brothers and sisters precede her in death.

Services will be on Monday, October 17, 2011, at 3:00 P.M. at Grace Bible Church, 6th and Monterey Streets in Hollister.

Interment and graveside services will be on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella where she will be interred with her husband, Fred.
