Born in Cross Plains, TX on Feb 9, 1934, to Johnnie T. and Jackie Wright, both deceased.

He left this world at peace with the Lord and his family by his side, Jan 28, 2010.

He was a Korean War Veteran, United States Navy, serving aboard the USS St. Paul.

Johnnie was a long-time member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters local # 393, Master Plumber.

Johnnie is part of a large family of plumbers and pipe fitters who lived and worked in the Santa Clara County area, including his father John T., and son Johnnie Jr.

Johnnie was a loyal sports fan, Forty-Niners, Giants, and Warriors.

An avid golfer, Johnnie once scored a hole in one.

His hobbies included, building things, dirt bike riding, team roping, quarter horseman.

Johnnie was a dedicated husband, loving father, step-father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Survived by Doris his loving wife of more than 45 years, son Johnnie Jr., step-children Terri and Don, grandchildren, Sandra, (Sean), Donnie, (Kellie), Erica, Nate and Olivia. great-grandchildren, Cortney, Lacey, Kaylee, Ean, McKenley, Ryan, and Rosie (puppy).

Johnnie’s easy going personality and great sense of humor will certainly be missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of Johnnie’s life will be held at the Woodland Estates Club House, 850 W. Middle Av, Morgan Hill, CA 95037, on Feb 2st, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. All Family and Friends are invited
