Helen Moser passed away on October 1, 2010, after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Helen had resided in Gilroy for more than twenty years, after a long and active life in many countries with her husband Leo Moser in the US Foreign Service.

She lived and raised children abroad in Hong Kong, Moscow, Frankfurt, Caracas, Taiwan, Canada and Laos—as well as in seven states of the union.

Her mother and father, John and Annabel Kropff, were well known in Gilroy, as is her brother Jim Kropff, long a teacher at Gilroy High School.

She is survived by her husband Leo, daughters Ann Elizabeth LeBlanc and Carol Marie Nelson, son Robert Dodd Moser, grandsons Christopher and Joseph Nelson, great-granddaughter Janessa Nelson, brother, James Kropff, and her sisters Ruth Marie Wolf and Kathryn Kellogg.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held for Helen on Monday October 18th, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. at the United Methodist Church, 7600 Church St., Gilroy.
