Louis, a Hollister resident from 1950 to 1988, passed away peacefully in Glendale, CA.
He leaves behind his children, Louis G. Rayas, D.D.S. (spouse Colleen Rayas), Emma G. Rayas and Angela Rayas-Kane (spouse Timothy A. Kane) and grandchildren Grant Kane, Leighton Kane, Chelsea Kane and Cassandra L. Rayas and many nieces and nephews.
He was a local business owner before retiring and building a retirement home in Rasarito, Baja California, where he enjoyed spending his time reading his western and detective novels. He spent the last 35 years between his homes in Rosarito and Glendale.
Mr. Rayas spent time in Kansas as a young man, working in the oil fields and traveled across country as a semi-professional boxer. He enjoyed sports, especially, baseball and football.
He will be missed dearly.
he was predeceased by his wife of 25 years, Emma Rayas who passed away on May 20, 1988.
