Born in Portage, PA, September 22, 1922. Predeceased by mother, Lucinda Long Campbell, father, James Campbell and sister, Margaret Campbell Freeman.

Stan’s World War II service in the Coast Guard took them to Myrtle Beach, SC, Salem, MA, and New York Harbor where she supported and loved him during those years and all that were to follow.

After many years in Detroit, MI, she helped blaze a trail to California and settled in Menlo Park.

Jean taught her family and friends about passion and love for life and good times. She was a wonderful mother and advocate for her children, and attended all of their baseball, basketball, and football games in Menlo Park and at Bellarmine.

She was a vocal and positive supporter of her sons and she was always proud of all that they accomplished.

Jean persevered in her quest to become a Daughter of the American Revolution and has a chair in Constitution Hall in Washington, DC dedicated to her ancestor who fought in the Revolutionary War.
