The Gang Prevention Coordinator Policy Committee will be meeting
tonight to discuss the status of the recruitment and the priorities
for the position for the fist couple of months, County
Administrative Officer Susan Thompson said. The meeting is set for
6 p.m. tonight at the County Administration Building.

The Gang Prevention Coordinator Policy Committee will be meeting tonight to discuss the status of the recruitment and the priorities for the position for the fist couple of months, County Administrative Officer Susan Thompson said.

“We will be talking about status of the recruitment, how they want to manage the interview and give updates on some of the gang prevention programs going on right now in the community.”

The meeting is open to the public and will begin at 6 p.m. in the board of supervisors chambers. The chambers are located in the County Administrative Building, 481 Fourth St.

The committee is comprised of Mayor Eugenia Sanchez and Councilman Victor Gomez from the City of Hollister, Supervisors Pat Loe and Jaime De La Cruz from the county, Superintendent Mike Sanchez from the San Benito County Office of Education, Southside School District Superintendent Eric Johnson and Hollister School District Trustees Alicia Flores and Ron Hatchet.
