Eugenio (Gino) Bozzo passed away Monday morning at his home in Hollister. Born in Italy and had lived in Hollister for 55 years. He had worked for the City of Hollister in the public works department for 25 years. Eugenio was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening for his friends and neighbors.

His wife, Emma, passed away in March of 1998. Eugenio is survived by his son, Michael Bozzo, wife, Julia of Bellingham, WA daughter, Carmela Bozzo of Hollister, grandchildren, Gina and Deanna Bozzo of Bellingham and brother, Paul Bozzo, wife, Teresa of Ontario, Canada. He also was the brother of the late Serafina, Raffaele, Giovanni, Verginia, Carmine and Francesco. He also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home this Friday, May 1st, 2009 from Noon to 6:00 P.M. and Saturday morning from 10:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. when the funeral procession will leave for St. Benedict Catholic Church for a funeral Mass commencing at 2:00 P.M. Graveside services and burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Contributions are preferred to Sacred Heart School.
