Edward J. “Eddie” Falconi passed away in Hollister at the age of 77. He was born in Hollister and lived here all of his life. He attended Union Elementary School, San Benito High School, San Benito Jr. College and San Jose State University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree. He was a member of E. Clampus Vitas, Hollister Exchange Club, Hollister Elks Lodge and Sacred Heart Church. He worked for Cornell Equipment Company, Triolo Equipment Company and for many years worked at Enterprise Electric Company in Hollister where he retired from in 2005. Eddie enjoyed cooking and traveling and took many trips to Italy.
He is survived by his brothers, Richard Falconi and Louie Falconi of Hollister, his sister-in-law, Marian Falconi of Hollister and his cousins in Hollister, Italy, The Netherlands and Santiago, Chile. He is preceded in death by his parents, Silvio Falconi who died in 1961 and Adele Falconi who died in 1980 and his sister, Sylvia Falconi who died in 1975.
Friends can pay their respects on Monday, August 3, 2009, from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.
His Mass will be on Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Benedict’s Church, 1200 Fairview Rd. Hollister. Friends can gather at the funeral home at 9:15 A.M. for a procession to the church.
Donations are preferred to Community Foundation of San Benito County c/o the funeral home.
