Renaissance Faire Celtic concert

The Northern California Renaissance Faire runs Sept. 12 – Oct. 18, at Casa de Fruta, off Hwy. 152. The faire will feature Celtic Rock concerts free with admission each weekend, starting at 6 p.m. Culaan’s Hounds will perform Sept. 12 and 13. Other bands scheduled include Avalon Rising, Brother, Wicked Tinkers, The Young Dubliners and Tempest. Advanced tickets are available online at www.NorCalRenFaire.com. General admission is $25 and $10 for children, though kids under 12 can get in free the first weekend. A weekend pass is available for $35 and fairever passes are available for $150 a person. Los Panchos concert

Los Panchos will perform a live concert in the Gavilan College Theater, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd., in Gilroy, Sept.12 at 7:30 p.m. and Sept. 13 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $40 for orchestra, $30 general admission, and $5 off for seniors, students or military. Master gardens tour

The Monterey Bay Master Gardeners will hold its annual tour Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The theme this year is “Garden Sanctuaries of the Monterey Peninsula.” The self-guided tour features nine private gardens, including cottage gardens, wooded coastal landscapes and historic sites. Graniterock Rock & Run

Graniterock will be hosting its fourth annual 10K Rock & Run to benefit Aromas School at the A.R. Wilson Quarry Sept. 13. at 8 a.m. The event will feature a 10K run and a 5K walk/run around the face of the quarry, the ancient granite deposit and the specialized equipment that processes it, as well as some natural surroundings. Oktoberfest celebration

The Service Club of San Juan will host a benefit Oktoberfest celebration Sept. 13, from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Casa Maria, at the Old Mission San Juan Bautista, 600 First St. Music by AlpinersUSA will entertain guests from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and dancing will be available on a wooden dance floor. The Native Daughters of the Golden West will celebrate California Admission Day Sept. 13, with a barbecue pulled pork and tri-tip luncheon at 203 Fourth St., in San Juan Bautista. Breakout Kids Small Groups

The Rolling Hills’ Seeds Children’s Ministry Team will be hosting a Breakout Kids Small Groups at the United Methodist Hall, Sept. 16, from 6:15 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event is designed to children on a journey of developing spiritual habits that will influence their lives eternally. The children will meet weekly on Wednesday through the end of March, with a group lecture at the beginning of the evening before the kids break out into smaller groups for games. 11th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

The YMCA of San Benito County will host its 11th annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Ridgemark Golf and Country Club, 3800 Airline Hwy., Friday, Sept. 18. Fees are $130 a person for green fees, cart, range balls, lunch, dinner and awards. Guests can attend dinner for $35. There are also $20 fun packages available for mulligans, prices, on-course games and refreshments. The San Juan Bautista Rotary Club will host a guided walking tour of several local sites where ghost sightings have been rumored.
