Sadiee Frassetti, a long time resident of Gilroy and native to Santa Clara valley, passed away at the age of 90 on November 2nd. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Frassetti Sr. and is survived by her son William Frassetti Jr. of San Jose, granddaughter Kimberly Frassetti of San Jose, daughter Mary Jo Cheyrias of Sonora, sisters Patricia Palotta of Modesto, Florence Frasier (Lucien) of Santa Barbara, Ester Santos of San Jose, Clorinda Nelson of San Jose, Frances Martarano (Joe) of San Jose and sister-in-law Mary Lou Burriesci of San Jose, along with many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Frassetti a native of San Jose, moved to Gilroy when she married in 1940. The Frassetti’s were active in the Gilroy Gliders square dancing, Knights of Columbus and the Gilroy Optimist Club. She was active in the local school board issues. Mrs. Frassetti also submitted the winning design for the city flag of Gilroy.

Vigil Service will be Sunday, November 8, 2009, 6:30 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Funeral Mass will be Monday, November 9, 2009, 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Gilroy. Donations to a favorite charity in her memory are preferred and appreciated.
