Gary passed away on May 6, 2008 in Morgan Hill, CA at the age of 61. He was the beloved husband of 8 years to Virginia Lomanto. He was the cherished son of Virgina and the late Tony Lomanto; devoted father of Tina Owen (Ken) and Paul Lomanto (Michelle); loving step-father to Jason and Kam Gin; adored brother to Lydia Pine (Albert); the loving grandfather of Kayla & Riley Owen, Brittney, Lindsey, Paul II, Nicholas Lomanto and step-grandfather to Jason Leslie Hollingworth. The beloved uncle to Kari Pine. The caring mother of his children is Roberta Fisher.
Gary was an active member of the California Dept. of Fish and Game and Past President of the Full Blooded Italian Association. He was a Morgan Hill resident and rancher for 61 years. He enjoyed Santa Cruz, Monterey, Morro Bay and traveling. He was a good hearted, generous and loving person. He supported his local sports teams, especially his favorite S.F. Giants! His family and friends were very important to him and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 9th, 2008 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Catherine’s Parish, 17400 Peak Ave. Morgan Hill, CA. Interment to follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave. San Jose
