Mildred J. Moniz

Wife of Stanley J. Moniz for almost 69 years, mother of Stanley C. (Marjorie) Moniz, grandmother of Nickelle C. (Tim) Austin, John A. (Lori) Moniz, and great grandmother of Hannah, Taylor, and Natalie Austin, and Calvin and Alexander Moniz. She was a partner with her husband in their vineyard and they worked together from start to harvest for 48 years. They also partnered in managing industrial complexes for 29 years. Mildred enjoyed planting and working in her large vegetable garden as well as surrounding her home with beautiful flowers and plants. She also made time to bake pies and cakes and loved cooking for her family and many friends. She loved animals and birds and often raised orphans until they were ready to return back to the wild. A private service is being held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mildred’s memory to the St. Francis of Assisi Animal Rescue in San Martin, CA, (408)683-0866.
