Frances Holmes Stanfield passed away on March 23, 2007 in Milwaukee, WI at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was born on May 2, 1924 in Gilroy to Harry and Fannie Holmes.
Frances attended local schools and graduated from Gilroy High School in 1942. Her first employment was as a telephone operator with the Gilroy Phone Compay.
Frances leaves her husband of almost 61 years, Charles Newton Stansfield of Greenfield, WI. She leaves many Stansfield family relatives in various parts of the U. S. and several nieces, nephews and cousins of the Holmes-Britton families in California. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Ada Holmes Britton.
Graveside services will be held at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 11.00 A.M.
