Winifred L. Saucier, 88, passed away at her home in Corona, CA, where she had lived for the last four years. Winifred worked as Secretary to the Base Commander and Historian at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield before transferring to Honolulu, Hawaii, where she retired in 1976. Winifred was a life member of Mensa and actively involved in big sisters in Fairfield, CA and Honolulu, HI.

Survived by her sister-in-law Bonnie Lohfeld of Maryland, grandson Eugene Champagne, great-grandchildren; Brandi Shrank, Mark and Bryant Champagne and 2 great-great-grandchildren; Dalton & Blake Pence, all of Hollister, CA and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice and Walter Lewis Lohfeld, husband Bryant Saucier, daughter Gloria Harrington and her brothers; Walter Lewis (Bob) and Richard Patrick Lohfeld.

Friends and family are invited to a Graveside Service at Fairmont Memorial Park, 1901 Union Ave., Fairfield, on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 11:30 A.M. The Interment will take place immediately following.
