Jerry passed away suddenly at the age of 62. Born in Amarillo, Texas, the family moved to San Jose in 1958 and has resided in Morgan Hill, California for the last 23 years.

He was the proud owner-operator of B&G Concrete Pumping. He loved his business and the many friends he made and connected with during his 31 years in the industry.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in 1964, the same year he met the love of his life and best friend, Diena. He was an avid fisherman and loved taking his friends and family to fish the lakes of California and Pacific Ocean. He especially treasured his trips to Alaska and Mexico with his lifelong friend Dan Blanton. He also enjoyed reading westerns on his down time and taking his wife to dinner and a movie. Jerry was funny, charming, loving, generous and a giving, honorable and greatly respected man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife Diena of 42 years, daughter Tanya and son-in-law Travis Bird, their daughters, Chandra and Elizabeth, his son Bobby, grandson Andrew Hubbard and great-granddaughter Diena. He is also survived by his beloved mother Bobbie and step-father Bud Jetton, siblings Tracy and husband Bobby Powell, Ron and his wife Rhonda Williamson, Tim Williamson, Dorothy and her husband Bill Meier. Father-in-law James Stallings and his Uncle Leon and Aunt Allene Watson, along with many other loved and devoted aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Johnson Funeral Home, 17720 Monterey Street in Morgan Hill. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jerry’s memory to: Diabetes Society, 1165 Lincoln Avenue, Suite 300, San Jose, CA 95125
