Constance Henman, 84, a former long time resident of Morgan Hill, CA, passed away July 11, 2007 in Oak Harbor, WA, after a very short but courageous fight against brain cancer. She was born in La Haciendita, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Ponciano and Ermelinda (Gomez) Rodriguez. She lived in Texas, Nebraska, Arizona, Washington, and California, eventually relocating back to Washington in 1998. She met and married Richard Henman in 1952. She was primarily a homemaker during the early years of their marriage, but later sold World Book Encyclopedias, Amway, and Avon, door to door. While residing in Morgan Hill, CA, she worked at Gilroy Foods, and was best known for selling antiques and collectables at her garage sales and at the Morgan Hill Flea Market.

She was a very talented woman who enjoyed many hobbies, including crocheting, sewing, collecting antiques, reading and flower gardening. She was a devout Catholic who prayed daily for those in need, attended mass weekly and prayed The Rosary every evening. She was a kind, loving, patient and generous person who will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband Richard, of Oak Harbor, WA, daughters; Katherine Rosas, husband Jesus, and their sons; Jesus and Rafael, also of Oak Harbor, WA, Alysia Henman of Gilroy, CA, Genevieve Sarabia, husband Olegario and their children; Jaime, Marisol, Ricardo, and Nicolas, of San Jose, CA, Belinda Saenz, her husband Martin and their son Martin Jr., of Morgan Hill, CA. She is further survived by her brother Jesse Rodriguez of Belton, MO, and sister Hope Gamez of San Martin, CA, plus nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Juanita Gomez, Mary Belman, and her brother Francisco Rodriguez.

A funeral mass service was held July 18, 2007 in Oak Harbor, WA and interment followed under the direction of Burley Funeral Chapel.
