Rito Raymond Velazquez, age 83, of Hollister, passed away peacefully Saturday at his son’s residence in Turlock. Rito was born in Mexico and came to Morgan Hill, CA, at the age of 16. He moved to San Jose in 1957 before he settled to Hollister in 1988. He was in the construction industry for 50 years. He was an avid hunter.

He is survived by his wife Natalie of Hollister, son Ernest Velazquez of Hollister, daughter Rita Castro of La Grange, son Frank Velazquez of San Juan Bautista, son, Arthur and his wife Dolly Velazquez of Turlock, sisters; Evenglina Chavez of Palm Springs, and Josefina Baiz of San Fernando, ten grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be at the St. Benedict Catholic Church on Friday, October 5, 7:00 P.M. in Hollister, CA.
