Hollister City Council members Monday are set to discuss the future of the fire services agreement in San Juan Bautista, an agreement for management of the Veterans Memorial Building, possible donations to nonprofits and park impact fees.
Council members are scheduled to meet at 5 p.m. Monday at Hollister City Hall, 375 Fifth St.
The city council Monday agreed to extend the San Juan fire agreement by a year, but it came after the prior agreement had expired so officials at the last meeting hinted they would have to start negotiating soon on a new deal.
The city first agreed to allow local veterans groups to manage the downtown Veterans Memorial Building two years ago. The city pays $80,000 per year to the veterans for maintenance costs.
On the park fees, the council plans to discussion possible amendments related to collection of fees as they relate to new developments.
