Carmen M. Lomanto March 2, 1917 – November 20, 2015

 A memorial service will be held on December 2, 2015, at 10:00 A.M., at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito Street, Hollister; followed by inurnment at Calvary Cemetery. A reception will be held at Paines Restaurant, 421 East Street following the services. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice c/o the mortuary.

 Carmen M. Lomanto passed away Friday, November 20, 2015. She was born and raised in Hollister. 
 She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Peter J. of 79 years, parents, Marceline and Larry Martin, sister, Bernice, brothers, Frank, Sam, and Marion, grandson, Chuck and daughter-in-law, Patricia.
 She is survived by son, Charles (Susie) Lomanto, daughter, Marsha Lomanto, grandchildren, Julie (Dave) Derr, Kelly (David) Dominguez, Peter (Tracy) Lomanto and Mac (Kelly) Ruiz; nine great-grandchildren and sister, Dolly Postigo, brothers, Larry and Manuel Martin and her companion, Kathy.
 Carmen enjoyed working in her yard and doing crossword puzzles. She was a Giants baseball fan, always cheering them on and never missing a game on TV. 
 Carmen loved to knit and crochet and has made many treasures for her family. She loved playing Bingo with her lady friends and an occasional slot machine when she could get to one. 
 Carmen was a very strong and independent lady and has been an inspiration to her family and all who knew her.
