There are going to be a lot of upset people if you cancel the
Hollister Independence Rally. But not everyone will know what’s
happening because I’m sure not everyone subscribes to the Free
Lance. As for me, I had to give a year notice to get the time off
to go. As for hotel owners, their duty would be to notify all their
regulars not to come to Hollister, which I’m sure they won’t.

Everyone wants the rally. Please do the right thing. If you’re not going to have this rally, go worldwide with the information because I meet people there from Alaska, Hawaii and Australia, just to mention some. As a paper, you owe it to the public.
