Bill Rouse passed away at his home after a brave and heroic battle with a lengthy illness.

Bill was a longtime resident of Morgan Hill before moving to Gilroy a few years ago. A master cabinet maker and wood worker by trade, he made beautiful pieces that will be cherished forever. From a very early age, he loved to golf and later flying was a big part of his life. Bill thoroughly loved camping, hunting and fishing in the mountains and took many memorable trips with family to the Sierras. He had a great singing voice and very much enjoyed being part of a barbershop quartet at one time. But the most important thing in Bill’s life was his family. He was such a great dad. Anyone who knew him will remember his big, wonderful, booming laugh.

Bill is survived by his wife, Jeanne, daughter, Jennifer and her husband, Steve Montez of Morgan Hill, daughter Catrina and her husband, Mark Antoniono of Hollister, grandchildren, Breanna, Bethany ahd Brittney Montez and Travis and Kayla Antoniono. He is also survived by his brothers, Frank Rouse and wife Betty of Cathedral City, John Rouse and wife Joanie of Merced and his sister, Dolores Rouse of Palm Springs, sister in law, Merle Moore of Half Moon Bay, sister in law, Rose Taylor and husband, Ron, of Gardnerville, NV, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Edna Mae Rouse of Merced, as well as his brothers, Charles, Bob and Jim Rouse and his sister, Sarah Jane Rouse.

A private celebration of Bill’s life will be held by his family.

“We love you and we’ll miss you so much, until we see you again.”
