Mary “Totsie” Josephine Lopez died Thursday evening at 72 at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital. She was born in Santa Maria, November 28, 1932.
Mary came to live in San Juan Bautista at age 10 and later moved to Hollister where she spent most of her life. She was very devoted to her family and was a very loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Trinidad Ramirez Lopez who died in 1975. She is survived by her children, David B. Lopez and wife, Nancy, of Colorado, Patricia R. Holquin and husband, Jimmy, of Hollister, Daniel J. Lopez and wife, Annette, of Hollister, George G. Lopez and wife, Nancy, of Hollister, Rosemary A. Marron and husband, Sonny, of Hollister and Ruben M. Lopez and wife, Missy, of Los Banos; and her late sons, Trinidad P. Lopez and wife, Ana; and Raymond D. Lopez and wife, Charrie. She is also survived by her nephew Richard Lopez of Oregon and Gregory Lopez in Washington.
Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 10 from 10am to 8pm at the Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home with a Rosary to be offered at 7pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will begin on Friday morning at 9:15am proceeding to Old Mission San Juan Bautista for a funeral Mass commencing at 10am. Burial and graveside services will follow at the San Juan District Cemetery. Contributions are preferred to the Charrie Lopez Family Trust Fund c/o Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home.
