Edith C. Hardin died March 11 at Mabie Skilled Nursing Facility
in Hollister. She was born in Kentucky and was 80 years old.
She married her husband, Charles, in 1945 in Evansville, Ind.
She and her husband started United Evangelical Churches and served
in Monrovia, Thomasville, Ga. and came to Hollister in 1996 from
Georgia.

She is survived by her husband Charles Hardin of Hollister, her daughters Esther and her husband Robert Fort of Hollister, Martha Varva of Gates, Oreg.; her son David Hardin of Oak Harbor, Wash.; her brothers Thomas Purdy of South Carolina and J.W. Purdy of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Paul Hardin.

Friends can pay their respects from 2 to 8pm on Monday, March 21 at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 24 at 11am at Bible Center Cathedral Church in Evansville, Ind. with interment to follow at Emmanuel Cemetery.

Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home in Hollister is in charge of the arrangements.
