thousands of ear-rattling motorcycles, complain about the noise

How can the city, home of the Independence Rally which hosts thousands of ear-rattling motorcycles, complain about the noise level of car stereos?

I’d much rather listen to music at 154 decibels as opposed to twenty-thousand motorcycle exhausts at the same.
