158167~The times they are a changin’ —My family and I
celebrated our 10 year anniversary living in San Benito County on
Cinco de Mayo. We have experienced a great deal of change in those
10 years, most of it positive. Many people don’t like change.
Sometimes change brings a sense of loss of control or nostalgia for
the good old days.
MR. SMITH: IN REGARDS TO YOUR OPINION TITLED TIMES THEY ARE CHANGIN….I DO AGREE…THE STALE MATE OF ECOMOMIC GROWTH IN THIS COUNTY HAS TO CHANGE….AND WITH THE CHANGES OUR CURRENT ELECTED OFFICIALS ARE MAKING ARE TO BE COMMENDED. THANK YOU FOR POINTING THIS OUT IN YOUR COLUMN…I AM SURE THE MEASURE G CROWD AND THE BIASED PINNACLE NEWSPAPER WILL RALLY THERE TROOPS, SO BE IT …I ONLY HOPE THAT THE VOTERS OF SAN BENITO COUNTY ARE MORE SOPHISTICATED, AND RECOGNIZE THAT IF THEIR POLICIES (THE MEASURE G GROUP)IF ENACTED WOULD LEAD TO FINANCIAL DISASTER….
