Cipriana H. Gonzalez died on May 14 as a result of an automobile
accident. She was born in Mexico and was 40 years old.

She had been a resident of Hollister for 30 years and married her husband, Ruben, in 1983 in Hollister. She attended Gavilan College and was involved in the migrant program with English as a second language and was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

She is survived by her husband, Ruben Gonzalez of Hollister; her children, Miguel Gonzalez of Hollister, Ramon Gonzalez of Hollister, Antonio Gonzalez of Hollister and Ruben Gonzalez Jr. of Hollister; her father Sebastian Arevalo of Mexico; her brothers and sisters, Dionicio Arevalo of Hollister, Leonor Perez of Hayward, Manuela Arevalo of Morgan Hill, Emilio Arevalo of Hollister, Celia Arevalo of Hollister, Soledad Arevalo of Phoenix, Ariz., Leandro Arevalo of Hollister, Sebastian Arevalo of Hollister, Ruth Arevalo of Phoenix, Maria Arroyo of Newman and Domingo Arevalo of Phoenix. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The Rosary will be held at 7pm on Friday, May 20 at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.

The Mass will be on Saturday, May 21, 2005 at noon at Sacred Heart Church. Friends can gather at the funeral home at 11:30am for a procession to the church. Visitation will be from 2 to 9pm on Friday at the funeral home chapel.

Interment and graveside services will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery.
