Dianne Burnett passed away Tuesday May 24 in Raymond at the age
of 58.
Dianne Burnett passed away Tuesday May 24 in Raymond at the age of 58.

Dianne was a native of Whittier and graduated from Whittier Schools and college in Fullerton. She spent her professional career as a Animal Health Technician working in Equine Veterinary Medicine for 30 years. She worked side by side with her late husband William “Doc” Burnett, who passed away in November 1999, in his Veterinary Practice which because of his specialty in Equine Medicine allowed them to travel throughout the United States.

“Dianne loved animals of all sizes,” said Greg Byron Hammersmith, her brother of Placentia.

Dianne is also survived by her mother Mabel Hammersmith; and nephew Greg Hammersmith Jr. both of Placentia; and many loving friends.

Her father Byron Hammersmith passed away February 14, 2005.

As per her wishes arrangements have been made for private cremation and inurnment through Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home &Crematory.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial celebration of her life on at 2pm Tuesday, May 31 at the chapel of Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home.

Donations are preferred to the Nancy Hinds Hospice, 1416 W. Twain, Fresno, CA 93711 or to the Humane Society c/o of the mortuary chapel.
