Age 87, formerly a resident of Gilroy., passed away Sunday, June 12, 2005 in Mooresville, NC. He was born September 28, 1918 in Gilroy. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 45 years, Mary Mae (Duncan) Dexter in 1994. Bill is survived by his children Cheryl and Lee Wood of Gilroy; Alyce and David Draxler of Mooresville, NC; John Dexter of Hollister; James and Debbie Dexter of Atwater, Calif.; grandchildren Nicole and Brad Elmore of Catawba, NC; Jerrica Dexter of Gilroy; Steve Jordan of Mooresville, NC; Richard Dexter of Atwater; John and Michael Draxler of Mooresville, NC.
Bill owned and operated Dexter Dairy and Prune Farm on Pacheco Pass Highway. He was a veteran of the American Legion Post 669 in Gilroy.
Graveside services will be held Friday, June 17, 2005 at 1:00pm at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy. Memorial donations in the name of William E.
