Melissa Lynn Giuliodibari, of Hollister, died Jan. 16 in
Paicines as a result of an automobile accident. She was 21 years
old.
Born in San Jose, she came to San Benito County 1 1/2 years
ago.

Melissa Lynn Giuliodibari, of Hollister, died Jan. 16 in Paicines as a result of an automobile accident. She was 21 years old.
Born in San Jose, she came to San Benito County 1 1/2 years ago.
Giuliodibari attended Willow Glen Elementary School, Hoover Middle School and Lincoln High School. She attended San Jose City College and was a student at West Valley College at the time of her death.
She was working on a student park management internship at Pinnacles National Monument while going to school. She was recognized as a member of the Honor Society in college for “straight A” achievements.
Giuliodibari was a devoted environmentalist, according to her family. She loved teaching people about nature and animals.
She held a second degree in Tae Kwon Do as a black belt. Giuliodibari enjoyed the spiritual compassion of the art, along with the physical competition, as it brought discipline to her relationships with others.
She is survived by her father Dan Giuliodibari of San Jose; her mother Sherii L. Giafaglione and husband Gary of Hollister; brothers Anthony and Spencer Giuliodibari of San Jose; sister Emily Giafaglione of Hollister; grandparents Al and Ann Giuliodibari of San Jose; grandmother Dolores Ruano of San Jose; and many others.
A private green burial was held Friday morning at the IOOF Cemetery in Hollister for family members only.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial celebration of Melissa’s life Saturday, Jan. 31 at noon at the chapel of Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home. A gathering will follow. Normal attire is preferred.
Memorials are preferred to the Pinnacles National Monument for habitat study and conservation, c/o Grunnagle Ament Nelson, 870 San Benito St., Hollister.
