Bob Davis died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004 in Seward, Alaska. He was 75.

Bob was born in Ohio on Oct. 31, 1929.

He joined the U.S. Navy at the age of 17. After a seven year hitch, he moved to Arizona for 10 years, then ventured up north to Dutch Harbor and Seward, Alaska.

He was a resident of Hollister from 1980 to 1995. During that period he made numerous friends in San Benito County. Bob then returned to Seward for his retirement years.

Memorial services are being held in Seward on Thursday, Jan. 29. In remembrance of Bob, a Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 6 p.m.
