Glen Richardson of Hollister died Saturday, Feb. 14 at St.
Louise Regional Hospital after a short illness. He was 75.

Glen Richardson of Hollister died Saturday, Feb. 14 at St. Louise Regional Hospital after a short illness. He was 75.

Mr. Richardson was born in Kansas City, Kan., and came to San Benito County in 1977 from San Jose.

He attended college in Missouri and was a U.S. Army veteran from World War II.

He was a member of Ridgemark Golf and Country Club, B.P.O.E. Lodge 1436 of Hollister and was a regular volunteer for Marle Holte’s holiday dinners.

His interests were golf, working in his yard, bird watching; straight on jazz (Louis Armstrong, Count Basie and Duke Ellington were some he personally went to see perform), the out of doors, fishing and traveling. He enjoyed the Hawaiian Islands, having just recently traveled there for a vacation.

Mr. Richardson was a sales representative in the engineering field representing many manufacturers.

He is survived by his wife Patricia A. Richardson of Hollister; children and their spouses David and Sheri Richardson of Minnetonka, Minn., Keenan and Jean Richardson of Orono, Minn., and Kelly and Paul Davis of Los Altos Hills; step-children and their spouses Cathleen St. Martin of Modesto, Elizabeth and Frank Smith of Salinas and David Askew of Carmel Valley; 14 grandchildren; brothers and their wives David and Estelle Richardson of Missouri, and Joe and Sara Richardson of Missouri; sisters Cleo Shout of Missouri and Geneva Smith of Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Mr. Richardson’s life Saturday, Feb. 21 at noon at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home.

Arrangements will be made for private cremation and inurnment.

Donations may be made to Marle Holte’s Dinner Fund, Parkinsons Foundation, Cancer Society, or Ridgemark Jr. Golf in care of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home.
