Venice Margaret Crnich died of heart failure March 11, 2004 at Mabie Skilled Nursing Facility. She was 94.
She was born Aug. 3, 1909 in Roosevelt, Utah. She worked as a housewife.
She is preceded in death by her husband Emil, who she was married to for 47 years, and stepsons Eddy and Bernard Crnich.
She is survived by stepdaughter Audree Russo of Hollister, stepson Larry Crnich and wife Marjorie of Paradise, Calif., stepgrandchildren Joe and Larry Crnich of Lake Oswego, Ore., Rosemarie Russo of Pacific Grove, Mike Russo of Monterey, Steven Russo of Lancaster, Rochelle Russo Skow and husband Jerry Skow of Hollister and Mark Russo and wife Jenni of Monterey.
She is also survived by stepgreat-grandchildren Brad and Joey Crnich of Lake Oswego, Ore., Jarrod Russo of Hollister, Benjamin Russo of Moab, Utah, Steven Russo Jr. of Central Point, Ore. and Karisa, Kadi and Karli Skow of Hollister.
A private memorial services will be held Friday, March 19. Cremation will be placed in niche at Cedar Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Warm Springs, Calif.
Memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to Anna Valentine and the entire nursing staff of Mabie Skilled Nursing Facility for the wonderful care and love they provided during her 7-year stay. The family would also like to thank Dr. Paul Percival for all of his wonderful care.
