Daniel Scott Lawrence passed away in Westwood on May 26, 2004 at
the age of 17 years. Daniel was born in Hollister,Calif. on April
20, 1987 and he had been a resident of Lassen County for the past
10 years.

Daniel had currently been enrolled as a junior at the Westwood junior/senior high school. He a was a member of both the varsity basketball team and the F.F.A.In 2003 he took Grand Champion hog at the Lassen County Fair. He also attended the Calvary Chapel in Westwood.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Petie and Larry Richardson of Westwood; father and step-mother Michael John and Kristi Rodrigues of Hollister; brother, Mitchell Lawrence of Westwood and sister Hannah Richardson of Westwood; half-sisters Kayla and Madison Rodrigues and Chavon Sammons all of Hollister; step-sisters Emily Richardson of Santa Rosa, and Blythe Richardson of Ukiah; Maternal grandparents, Hershell Lawrence of Westwood and paternal grandparents, Ron and Dianne Rodrigues of Hollister; step-grandmother Mary Richardson of Wildomar; Aunt Debbie Pickering of Medford, Ore. and Uncle Kenny Hill of Westwood, Ca. Aunt Debbie (maiden name-Rodrigues) of Hollister; step-Aunt Brenda of Downey and Uncle Michael of Laguna Niguel; numerous cousins and other family members.
Memorial services will be held at the Lake Almanor Community Church on Tuesday June 1, 2004 at 11 a.m. Visitation was held at Walton’s Colonial Mortuary on Sunday, May 30 1 to 5 p.m. Private Interment will be at the Westwood cemetary. The family requests that any donation be made in Daniel’s memory to the Plumas Bank either in Westwood or Chester, Calif. to help cover funeral and other expenses.
