Lila W. McGuire died in Watsonville, Calif. on May 31, 2004 at
the age of 87 years.
 She had lived in San Juan Bautista since 1990 when she moved
there from Eureka to be close to her sister and her family.
Lila W. McGuire died in Watsonville, Calif. on May 31, 2004 at the age of 87 years. She had lived in San Juan Bautista since 1990 when she moved there from Eureka to be close to her sister and her family. She had been a bookkeeper for Precision Lumber Co. in Eureka and was instrumental in the construction of the Paradis family mausoleum at the San Juan Bautista Cemetery. She enjoyed gardening in her spare time.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. McGuire who died in 1972. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Lusk of Trinidad, Calif.; her brother, Art Williams of Aberdeen, Wash.; and her nephew and his wife, Art and Tamara Paradis of San Juan Bautista.  She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Gladys Paradis, and her two brothers, Ray Williams and Al Williams. 

Arrangements and cremation are through Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home and Gavilan Hills Crematory.
