Rose E. Southworth Kohrs died in Gainesville, Texas on Saturday, July 10, 2004, at the age of 84.

Born in French Camp, California, March 16, 1920. She resided in Tres Pinos as a young lady and had attended Tres Pinos Elementary School and San Benito High School. Rose was a retired County Recorder for Gila County in Globe Texas.

She is survived by her daughter, DeeJaye Kohrs-Greer; husband, Richard of Graham, Texas; and her special care giver, Della Koonce of Gainesville, Texas; two grandchildren, Marci Greer Frost of Childress, Texas and Jarrod Greer of Plano, Texas; two great grandchildren, Colton Dale Frost and Bre’Anna Abbigayle Frost of Childress, Texas; sister Rae Southworth Lanning and husband, Jim, of Hollister; nieces Debbie Lynn Southworth Franco and husband, Mark, of Hollister, Jayme Marie Lanning Stewart of Hollister and Jan Marie Foco, and husband, Randy, of Alpine, Calif.; nephews, Daniel Southworth of Hollister, Kurt Lanning and wife, Mary Margaret, of Hollister and Wirt Lanning and wife, Ilona, of Redding.

She preceeded in death by her parents, Wirt and Jowanda Southworth, late brother, Daniel Southworth and late sister, Gracia Southworth.

Graveside services will be Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. at the Mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery, 1100 Hillcrest Rd., Hollister. Contributions are preferred to the Vista Care Hospice, 625 Dallas Dr., Denton, TX, 76205.
