Lillis E. Lightfoot died at Mabie Skilled Nursing Facility in
Hollister. She was born in Bristow, Okla. and was 88 years old.
She came to Hollister in 2002 from Salinas to be with her
daughter. In Salinas she worked for Salinas Valley Memorial
Hospital and upon retirement she worked part time for Carls Jr
Restaurant and attended The First Presbyterian Church in
Hollister.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Gwen and H.D. “Slip” Slibsager of Hollister, Cecil and Josephine Lightfoot of Auburn, Gill Lightfoot of Las Vegas, Nev., John and Jane Lightfoot of Sonora, Donald and Jane Lightfoot of Valley Springs, and Richard and Shirley Lightfoot of Carson City, Nev.; her brother, Riley Phillippe of Stillwater, Okla.; and her sister, Viola Denton of Yuba City. She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Lightfoot and her son Roy Lightfoot. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 30 at 10am at the First Presbyterian Church in Hollister. Rev. David Rodriguez will officiate.

Graveside services will be at 1:30pm at Garden of Memories in Salinas.
